Evie Clair Collaborates to Light the World

After the America’s Got Talent finale, Evie Clair has been traveling the country performing and sharing her story in person. Today she returns as a YouTuber in collaboration with non profits, composers and other talented musicians to join in the movement to #LightTheWorld with service, love and the peace of the Christmas season. Learn more about #LightTheWorld

Evie released two videos on her YouTube channel today which are the first performances she has been able to release since before her first appearance on NBC’s most watched show, America’s Got Talent.

For Here in My Arms, she collaborated with young vocalist, Rosevelt Rawls and with Cinematic Pop composer Rob Gardner who in his spare time writes sacred oratorios such as Lamb of God, orchestrated by the world famous London Symphony Orchestra. Here in My Arms has emphasis on the divine calling of motherhood and the special ways Mary, the mother of Christ, was able to give Jesus the gift of lifelong service as His mother.

Here in My Arms sheet music is available here.

For Light the World, composer Sara Baril and her son Benson caught Evie’s attention with an original song they released that captures the heart of the #LightTheWorld in 25 ways over 25 days initiative to teach, serve and love as Jesus Christ.  Sara and Benson traveled from their home in Canada to record and film Light the World and bring message to life in collaboration with Step UP Schools, Mormon.org and the Salvation Army, they put their words to action as they participated in service projects including preparing food boxes and hygiene kits for families in need and reading to and playing with the students.

Light the World sheet music available here.

Both videos were produced in collaboration with Mormon.org and with Production by Stephen Moyer, Thomas Manning and James Adams.

  • Coyote’s Season Opener

    Coyote’s Season Opener

Evie Clair was invited to sing the national anthem for the Arizona Coyote’s season opener on Saturday October 7,2017. She was given first class treatment with an executive suite for her friends and family. She performed for her home state crowd in Arizona and was received well.

Evie sings our country’s national anthem with sincere patriotism and reverence. She feels it’s important for people to understand that they don’t have to agree with current leaders in order to show respect for America and stand for the national anthem. Although she is only 13, she senses something wrong with the current fad among sports players to disrespect our country during the national anthem. Thankfully there was no disrespect from the Arizona Coyote’s hockey team or the amazing crowd.

The Coyotes led 1-0 against the Las Vegas Knights all evening then lost in overtime after an exciting and intense game. We hope to see good things from the Coyotes this season and Evelyn is excited to go back to another game with her new gifted official jersey complete with her name.

  • Tuckahoe Concert

    Tuckahoe Concert

Sponsored by the Generoso Pope Foundation

Evie’s first performance after America’s Got Talent was a huge success! Tuckahoe had never seen such a big turn out with 5,000+ people filling the square. It was Evie’s first time in New York City and it was huge to a small town girl.  She was happy to get out of the big city and into the quaint little village of Tuckahoe in the town of Eastchester, NY. The sense of community there was amazing and the generosity of David Pope has a lot to do with it, we discovered. He’s a philanthropist who volunteers as the cheer coach and led the school’s cheerleading team to national and world championships last year.

When we arrived in Tuckahoe, we went for some pizza at a local restaurant. Evie was Top Live on Instagram and we heard Angelica Hales’s voice in the distance. Her Instagram audience followed us as we followed the voice to the Generoso Pope Foundation stage where Angelica was doing a sound check. We were so excited to see her again after just leaving her in LA. She saw Evie and jumped off the stage to greet her.

Evie had sound check next and AJ Pope came out to greet her. His family’s foundation was sponsoring the event. He said he had met all kinds of big celebrities over the years but had never been more excited to meet anyone as much as Evie. He also said that even though The Village People and other big name bands were performing that night, everyone he talked to was coming to see Evie and Angelica. That made her feel really special.

They treated us like gold all day. They provided amazing audio visual staff and a beautiful dressing room. Really, they spoiled us from start to finish ending her set by announcing a gift they had for her – a trip to Disneyland!

    Evie Clair Tuckahoe

Evie was super excited to meet her mom’s cousin Cody and Uncle Barney who are both New York City musicians. One is a screamo-rocker and one is a classical violinist. Can you guess who is who?

Evie Clair performed a half hour set of heartfelt ballads mixed with fun, upbeat songs like Lanka’s “The Show” and her original “Okay Day.” Before the concert, she took pictures with her fans and had a meet and greet exclusively for David Pope’s next generation of champion cheerleaders.

Evie Clair TuckahoeSpending time signing autographs with Angelica Hale is always fun. Angelica also spent much of the time in Evie’s dressing room.  It’s great to be far from home and still have friends around. Yes. This is the real “YMCA” Village People! They were so fun. The cowboy and construction worker have been replaced from the original band but they were just as fun as ever.  The cowboy was a big fan of Evie’s too. Even The Boy Scouts wanted a picture with Evie Clair. Her set list included some originals plus her own arrangements of other favorites such as “Dreams” by the Cranberries and “Time in a Bottle” by Jim Croche. She was well received by the adoring crowd and so happy to be doing what she loves.

Evie was so excited to see that someone in the crowd had even made a poster with her name on it. It is beyond imagination to her that people all over the country know her and believe in her. She appreciates all those individuals and organizations who show love and support as she continues to chase her dreams.

Evie Clair was invited to perform the national anthem at a Diamondbacks game.  Her father loves baseball and was so excited to be able to go although he was too weak to be able to walk. Evie helped him around in a wheelchair. The DBacks including Luis Gonzalez are big Evie fans and supporters and gave Evie and her family the royal treatment during their visit. It was Gonzo (Luis Gonzalez) who saw Evie on America’s Got Talent and insisted that they have her come. They got time with the players during batting practice, gifts and Evie’s sister Ruthie got her baseball signed by the players. It was a day Evie’s family will never forget.

    Anthem

Evie Clair was invited to sing the National Anthem at the Arizona Diamondbacks Game this summer.  She was so excited to see so many people come to support her first anthem experience.  The Dbacks posted an Instagram of Evie on the big screen with the players honoring our country’s anthem.
